# Institutional Procurement and Compliance

Effective June 11, 2026 | Version 1.0

This document summarizes the policy materials institutions may want before adopting The Ladder AI for a school, team, employer, nonprofit, agency, or workforce program.

## Procurement Package

Institutional reviewers should review:

- Terms of Service.
- Privacy Notice.
- FERPA and COPPA Student Privacy.
- Data Retention and Disposal Policy.
- AI Governance Policy.
- The Ladder AI Engine Transparency.
- Bias Audit Documentation.
- Copyright Policy.
- WCAG evaluation and interim accessibility recommendations.

## Written Agreements

Schools, employers, public agencies, and organizations should request a written agreement before relying on The Ladder AI for required training, formal credentialing, managed learner deployments, or any use that requires specific privacy, data-retention, accessibility, security, or procurement terms.

## Accessibility Evidence

The current accessibility review targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA for public-facing pages. A formal VPAT or external accessibility audit should be prepared when required by an institutional buyer or contract.

## Security and Privacy Review

The Ladder AI can provide additional information about data flows, AI provider use, credential records, deletion workflows, and administrative access when needed for procurement review.
